Once cooled and solidified, the cylinder is transformed into a series of rings. The transformation continues as the edges of these rings are meticulously ground and polished. Martinez then exposes the rings to intense heat, pushing them to a temperature of 1100 degrees Fahrenheit. With careful precision, he uses a glass blowing iron to pick up and manipulate the heated rings, bending them with an artist's touch to create elegant, organic shapes that mimic the fluid grace of water in motion.
